Contract Technical Recruiter - RPO

Position Summary

Samsung is a world leader in Memory, LCD and System LSI technologies. We are currently looking for exceptional software and hardware talent to join our Samsung Austin R & D Center (SARC) in Austin, TX and our Advanced Computing Lab (ACL) in San Jose, CA. SARC was established in Austin, TX in 2010 to be one of Samsung's strategic investments in high performance low power ARM based device technology. Presently our GPU design teams, located in Austin (SARC) and San Jose (ACL), are developing a GPU that will be deployed in Samsung mobile products. Our System IP team located in Austin (SARC) is working on Coherent Interconnect and memory controller architectures.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Contract Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment of qualified candidates for Samsung's Austin R&D Center (SARC) or the San Jose Advanced Computing Lab (ACL). You will provide the highest level of consultative and recruitment services to candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners in an efficient and effective approach. You will collaborate with other recruiters and managers to develop strategic recruitment plans and lead a variety of recruitment programs and services (i.e., sourcing, outreach, retention plans, etc.) to attract top talent.

Duties/Activities to include:

  • Lead and drive sourcing of highly qualified candidates for organizations ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Drive internet and research based lead generation techniques to uncover top talent.
  • Generate and source a flow of qualified candidates through a multitude of channels.
  • Ability to quickly identify top talent through resume screening and candidate interviews.
  • Prioritize critical hiring initiatives company-wide and advertise job openings through various channels.
  • Must be comfortable selling employment opportunities to key industry talent and articulating our competitive position and growth areas.
  • Participate in targeted local, regional or national recruitment events; job fairs, open house events and professional associations and group meetings.
  • Broker job offer definition and closing tactics between candidates and HR leadership.
  • Create metrics and documentation that accurately reflect work activity.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent and 3 + years of full lifecycle recruiting experience of engineering positions
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying active and passive candidates by utilizing a variety of methods including social media platforms, external research, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong track record in souring qualified candidates, lead development, negotiating offers, and influencing management decision-making.
  • Proven ability to research and understand divisional business needs in a high tech company and implement tactical plans that will meet hiring goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing for requisitions from opening to closure and taking responsibility to ensure successful completion.
  • Proven experience influencing job profile and offer definition internally in addition to negotiating external offer parameters and relocation needs.
  • Solid understanding of EEO, AA, and FLSA wage and hour laws.
