Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in either Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA. This is an individual contributor role and is not a management/leadership opportunity.
Job Description: This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. This individual contributor will work with the Program Office on all program reporting and executive level presentations. The candidate will be required to improve their knowledge of industry practices and standards, and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
Programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the Program Office in day-to-day execution
Assess project issues, and support development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress
Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings
Enterprise Risk and Opportunity management
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 3 years of Project Management experience; 1 year with a Master's Degree
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Active secret or top secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years)
Ability to attain and maintain program access (PAR)
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years' experience - general business environment with preference in project management, program integration
Master's Degree from an accredited university
Intermediate to advance skills with Microsoft Office tool suite
Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
Familiarity with the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)
