Contract Project Lead position for community development impact investment program

High Gain Solutions Group offers a range of high stakes persuasive communication services, including a specialized capability in the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) industry, which we bring to market in partnership with leading impact investment firm Advantage Capital.
Together, High Gain and Advantage work with selected community development entities (CDEs), such as major municipalities, nonprofits, mission-driven investors and economic development corporations, that seek to win NMTC allocation authority, which in turn serves as a powerful tool for bringing affordable growth capital to low income communities in their regions.
The NMTC Program is run through the Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund, which conducts a highly competitive annual application process for allocation authority.
Each High Gain NMTC Project Lead (aka "Quarterback") is paired with a designated NMTC applicant and drives the development and submission of that application within NMTC parameters, in alignment with the High Gain/Advantage application development model.
Familiarity and experience with the New Markets Tax Credit program is not required for candidates applying for the Quarterback role. High Gain provides training on the NMTC program and the Quarterback role, as well as considerable mentoring, research and project management support, administrative assistance and cross-team collaboration.
The native skills that ARE required for a Quarterback to be successful include:
Excellent interviewing skills;
Proven professional writing ability;
Information distillation capability;
Time management skills;
Substantial project management chops;
General business acumen / polish / poise.
