Freshman Jeremy Gyan (Bear, Del./Newark Charter) registered the other CIAA championship with a victory in the javelin with a career-best distance of 44.31 meters. Butler added more points to the tally by teaming with Jude Butumbi (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast), Nyle Buchanan (King George, Va./King George), and Dominic George (Wyncote, Pa./Cheltenham) to place third in the 400-meter relay (43.38 seconds). The 1600-meter relay team of Spencer Seide (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon), Jordan Hall (Randallstown, Md./Newtown), Buchanan, and Ra'ar Corinaldi placed second in the time of 3:22.69.
