ServiceNow Partners with HBCU CONNECT to Kick Off Hackathon Allowing HBCU Students to Compete for up to $60,000 in Prizes!
Posted By: Will Moss on January 18, 2022 On Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, ServiceNow and HBCU CONNECT partnered to host a special info session where over 130 HBCU Students and Recent Grads learned about a one of a kind Hackathon with a focus on diversity. HBCU CONNECT was responsible for marketing the Hackathon and info session with ServiceNow, which saw over 500 registrations from HBCU Students and Recent grads interested in the opportunity. ServiceNow has volunteered the prize money, learning platform, and infrastructure to host the Hackathon and choose a winning team. The purpose of the Hackathon is to expose diverse students and recent grads to ServiceNow, new technologies, and new people such that you learn in a fun environment and potentially land significant prize money, jobs or internships as a result of this experience. As of January 19th, registration has officially closed for the hackathon. There were 200 people accepted and 65 on the waitlist, which exceeded expectations for the special contest!
