Posted By: Reggie Culpepper on November 06, 2020 In 2018, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Hennessy launched the Hennessy Fellows program. Thanks to a $10 million investment from Hennessy over the next ten years, we select 10 high-achieving, high-potential HBCU graduate students and provide soft skill resources, corporate development experiences, and financial assistance up to $40,000. These experiences include training forums and networking to enhance the exchange of ideas and direct exposure to the inter-relatedness of corporate, social, and economic systems. In June, we selected our second cohort of Fellows who came from six TMCF member-schools (Morgan State University, Southern University and A&M College, Florida A&M University, University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, Howard University, and Southern University Law Center). So far, they have attended the Hennessy Fellows professional development virtual boot camp and will follow up with online leadership development courses and assessments via the Hennessy Fellows Online Learning Academy. I am proud to announce we are expanding the scope of students that can apply to now include more graduate programs! In addition to your best MBA students, we are looking for talented students pursuing corporate-relevant majors such as Masters of Finance, Accounting, Technology, Supply Chain, Communications, Human Resource Management, Computer Science & Information Systems, Math, Economics, Engineering, and Law/J.D., enrolled at an accredited HBCU. The application for the third cohort of Hennessy Fellows is open, and we really need your help spreading the word about the program to help us identify the very best group of HBCU graduate students for this unique opportunity. As a reminder, the Fellows will receive:
