We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to oversee project support across multi-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to utilize your project management background, experience working and managing across teams, and familiarity with electrical, process, mechanical, chemical, and environmental engineering to work closely within the organization to drive on time project delivery.
ALL OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES WE'LL TRUST YOU WITH:
Lead project execution against schedule, revising as appropriate, to meet changing project needs and requirements.
Manage and lead a project involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product.
Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
Coordinate activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; track progress against established plan and make decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
Use project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
Provide recovery action plans (PSP) when tollgates are not met to get the project back on track.
Coordinate and direct matrixed teams and resources and proactively create room to collaborate across functions.
Create and manage program schedules, risk management, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE THAT MATTER MOST:
3-5 years of experience in Engineering or similar field.
3+ years of practical experience in planning and execution of development projects including those for capital, mechanical, or electrical projects.
Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple responsibilities and timelines.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
Bachelors degree required with a preference in Engineering-related degree (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Materials Science)
Certification in Project Management preferred (PMP), preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10%, required.
