Human Resource Assistant (6791)
The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for data entry of Civil Service documentation, scheduling appointments and assisting with paperwork completion. The HR Assistant will also run standard reports and assist the HR Manager/Associate with documentation from the Position Management Committee. Additionally, he or she will be responsible for ordering drug tests, drug test billing and verifications of employment. Further duties and responsibilities may be assigned in support of the departmentís mission and goals.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. One year of work experience performing basic human resource/payroll or general office/clerical duties;
30 semester hours of college course work that included 6 semester hours in human resource administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
-Experience entering data into an HRIS system.
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
-Experience screening resumes to determine qualified candidates.
