Techincal Support Engineer, nPhase, the Joint Venture between Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm Job ID: 244095 Location: CA - San Diego Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Responsibilities •Respond to customer inquires to Technical Support (both emails and phone calls). •Analyze situations and data in order to troubleshoot and solve customer’s technical questions and issues both timely and efficiently. •Document and track issues in the help desk application. •Escalate issues to level 2 Support engineering when appropriate. •Provide Management with status reports and critical updates, including high visibility issues and projects. •Create and execute test plans in order to verify application and software functions per design specifications. •Create and design test suites. •Perform other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Excellent analytical and technical skills. •Ability to work closely with customers and vendors to solve problems and provide excellent customer service. •Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize to react with the appropriate level of urgency to issues that may adversely affect a customer. •Must be able to work independently with little supervision. •Flexibility with work schedule changes to accommodate business needs. •Experience in C++, .Net and Web environments a must. •Knowledge of Java, ‘C’, Python, source control a plus. •Knowledge of application development and system test concepts. •Any experience with technical support or working with customers using business systems and applications a plus. •Bachelor or Advance degree in Computer Engineering or Software related field.
