ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Answer customer calls, covering a full range of Comcast's services in a prompt and professional manner, obtaining all information necessary for resolution of transaction. Provides instantaneous resolution of customer inquiry when possible, by providing appropriate billing, service, program or maintenance information and by recording required information on assigned computer terminal. Prepares work orders for maintenance requests after determining if field visit is required and ensure appropriate follow-up procedures are followed. Considers customer request to disconnect or downgrade services and makes valid attempts to prevent adverse action. Generates appropriate written communication to subscriber and maintains required records, logs, and documentation relative to productivity standards. Serves as a sales representative to sell complete packages of existing cable and cable related services. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required.
Qualifications / Requirements
High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, and three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions. PC knowledge including Windows based programs. Ability to work overtime, as needed.
