Manage the day-to-day sales of bulk and IB properties, Must maximize return on bulk properties based on the negotiating points and goals determined by the director; Provides weekly reports that communicates all activity including average rates by property type and activity; Evaluate account executives based on scorecard achievements; Works to enhance relationships with other internal departments; Maintains and expands relationships with consulting organizations; Renew bulk and IB properties while achieving acceptable company standards; Ensure regular visits to A rated properties by account executives; Distributes renewals and new properties on an equitable basis; Communicates directly with corporate legal council; Coordinates with direct sales to maximize sales opportunities; Provides exceptional customer service assistance as needed; Projects a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity; Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications / Requirements
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience Qualifications: 3-6 years prior experience in a data focused sales organization, customer service department or combination of both preferred; 2-4 years direct experience with business to business and business to consumer sales; Strong written/verbal communication skills required as this position is responsible for ensuring potential customers understand current promotions and products available to them within a certain timeframe; Ability to work within MS Office applications such as ASC, Word, Excel and Outlook; Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision; Excellent detail orientation and follow-through skills; Strong discretionary skills as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature; Must be able to motivate, lead and mentor Physical Requirements: Frequent to continuous driving, walking, bending and reaching; Occasional exposure to inclement weather; Occasional to frequent exposure to uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights; Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.; Frequent to extensive local travel; Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (sales materials); Position requires flexibility to work within non-standard business hours ranging between 7 am and 9 pm within all 7 days per week to ensure sales quota is met.
