Technical Operations - Dispatch
* Organizes and forecasts daily fulfillment activities through scheduling, routing and re-prioritizing of Installation and Repair staff. * Coordinates customer scheduling requirements. * Dispatches via CSG/ACSR to Communications Technicians to remedy service problems and assign work orders. * Monitors job pool and assigns jobs in a timely manner. * Communicates unresolved issues immediately to management. * Uses Service Activation System (SAS), WFX and OSP tools to accurately document problems including diagnostic results and multiple product correlation as well as escalation and repair performance information. * Responsible for working customer reported tickets for video, high speed internet, and Comcast Digital Voice issues to resolution within the allotted time to repair. * Works with both internal and external resources, the customer, Comm Tech & Call Center Supervisors and continue to maintain a detailed account in the work log of each ticket. * Coordinates truck rolls across product lines to prevent multiple truck rolls and overlap of Comm Tech routes. * Provisions equipment * Creates work orders for maintenance/repairs needing a tech on site, as a result of maintenance line repair issues. * Schedules, completes, and properly codes daily work for the purpose of maintaining an accurate database. * Keeps an accurate log of all jobs, including cancels, failed installations and completed jobs by schedule areas. * Conducts basic dispatching duties as it applies to each quota group and/or zone. * Generates and provides reports and statistical information as required. * Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. * All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
* High school diploma. * 6-12 months as a Dispatcher or related experience. * Previous customer service experience. * Personal computer skills: MS office - Word and Excel. * Ability to work weekends and Holidays. * Ability to work overtime as the business need dictates.
