**THIS POSITION WILL BE WORKING IN NYC**
Description: The National Sales Manager is responsible for generating sponsorship and Ad sales revenue in the national broadcast marketplace by managing our two national sales teams. Revenue growth is predicated on prioritized traditional and non-traditional targets on both our linear and digital platforms. Position will be based in New York.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee our national sales firms and work in tandem with them in prospecting and developing new revenue channels Work with Vice President of Sales in creating and implementing National Sales Revenue plan. Drive organic revenue growth by increasing share of volume on both linear and digital platforms Work closely with Vice President of Sales and Traffic in managing order flow. Coordinate linear and digital sponsorship revenue in securing new spending across both platforms. Re-establish and grow our agency relationships in New York and the major Advertising communities. Develop new client direct relationships and coordinate with the client's key agency contacts. Work in tandem with Vice President of Sales and General Sales Manager in nurturing local points of contact in driving national business Facilitate all promotional executions whether on-air or on-line. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Qualifications / Requirements
5-7 years of successful local and or national sales experience Strong knowledge of pricing and inventory control Working knowledge of online pricing and inventory Experience with packaging and prospecting sports sponsorship sales Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to lead, motivate and develop sales teams to achieve revenue goals BA in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related degree Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
