Summary: Develops sales plans and packages and facilitates the selling of advertising by providing plans that meet the needs of the network, clients and sales force.
- Create and modify sales proposals, as well as generate planning costs for assigned Comcast Network(s). - Responsible for coordinating the training of Sales Assistants. - Provide support to the Ad Sales team in the pre and post buy stewardship process. - Generate, track and distribute assigned sales reports, as specified Sales Administration Management. - Act as coverage and quality control of inventory in coordination with the Manager, Inventory/ Planning. - Act as Liaison between Sales, Traffic and External Advertising Agencies. - Work closely with the IT project manager in trouble shooting the sales systems functions and needs. - Enforce all Sales Administration deadlines, policies and procedures. - Work with Sales Assistant & Traffic, to ensure all copy instructions and tapes are received. - Check and approve all orders booked by your assigned Sales Assistants. - Assist SVP and Director, Pricing and Planning, as needed. - Assist Ad Sales team, as needed - Various Projects and Assignments, upon business needs.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum of 2 (two) years working experience either Agency Planning/Buying or Cable/Broadcast Ad Sales/Sales Support. - A Strong Media Math skill set. - Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. - Requires strong computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite: (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). - Candidate should possess a working knowledge of DealMaker (Invision), VCI (Orion) and/or a Database Application, but this is NOT required.
