May perform any or all of the following duties Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory. Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues as prescribed. Upgrade and improve sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates and attend sales meetings as required. Systematically review assigned territory to insure dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis. Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities. Acquire new or upgrade subscribers by direct contact. Contact subscribers pending disconnects, change of service, or follow-up on installations. Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid CA drivers license with a clean DMV driving record. 3-5 years customer service/sales experience required. 1-2 years successful outside sales experience preferred. Use of personal vehicle required in performance of job duties - mileage reimbursed
Exposure to moderate noise level
Work while standing 90% of the time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment
Constant bending and movement in and around customer homes to view existing wiring layout.
Ability to walk long distances and go up and down multiple flights of stairs on a consistent basis.
Some duties may require the use of company issued equipment such as but not limited to ladders, meters, DCT's, cable, hand tools, sales collateral, etc.
Work and travel in inclement weather
This is a field position, which means it is primarily performs outdoors and the actual location of sales territory will vary.
You may be required to report to different locations within the Market based upon the assigned sales area. Changes to assigned territories and job responsibilities may change as needed to achieve departmental goals and objectives
