Open Level Professor, Statistics for Data Science
The Department of Statistics and Applied Probability invites applications for an open rank position (tenure-track or tenured) in Statistics with emphasis on Data Science, starting July 1, 2018.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science or related fields is required by the time of appointment. Demonstrated research and teaching excellence is preferred. The candidate must have a strong research agenda on data science and potential to play a leadership role in developing data science programs at UCSB.
